A Fan Project Devoted to the World of Mystic Warlords of Ka’a
Who We Are & Why We Built KaasCodex
It Started with a Deck and a Question: "Is Anyone Still Playing Ka’a?"
Keeping the Magic of Ka’a Alive

KaasCodex began as a side project between a few longtime fans of Mystic Warlords of Ka’a who met at a vintage game night in Berlin. What started as nostalgia quickly turned into a mission: to preserve, explore, and share the rich world of Ka’a with a new generation of players.
Though the game never became mainstream, it captured something timeless — a blend of clever mechanics, rich lore, and endless potential for fan creativity. We realized that while official support may have faded, the community’s love for Ka’a hadn’t.
Since launching KaasCodex, we’ve connected with players across Germany, the US, and even Australia. Some are competitive veterans. Others are discovering the game for the first time. What unites us is a shared passion for this cult classic.
Through this site, we aim to archive every card, rule, and story; support offline and online play; and foster a space for fans to share strategies, theories, and creations.
Ka’a may be forgotten by some, but here, it thrives.
